A review of the Metashinobius, a genus previously considered monotypic (Araneae, Trechaleidae)
Abstract
The female of the genus Metashinobius is recorded for the first time, and two new species from Yunnan, China, are described: M. daweishan sp. nov. (♀) and M. dulongjiang sp. nov. (♂♀). In addition, the diagnosis and description of Metashinobius are further refined. Morphological descriptions and photos of the habitus and copulatory organs are provided.
