  Unveiling the diversity and distribution of Coelotinae (Araneae, Agelenidae) spiders from Chongqing, China Abstract This research examines the funnel-web spider subfamily Coelotinae (Araneae, Agelenidae) from karst caves and associated subterranean environments in Chongqing Municipality, China, resulting in the identification of 84 species across 20 genera, which includes nine new genera and 58 new species: Antrocoelotes gen. nov., A. jiangjin sp. nov. Four new spider species of the Pholcus phungiformes species group (Araneae, Pholcidae) from South Korea

Abstract

Four new spider species of the genus Pholcus Walckenaer, 1805, Pholcus baegamsan sp. nov., Pholcus hongcheon sp. nov., Pholcus namhae sp. nov., and Pholcus yeongcheon sp. nov. belonging to the P. phungiformes species group in the family Pholcidae C. L. Koch, 1850, are newly described from South Korea. The new species presented here were hand-collected from rocky areas, such as rock walls and beneath rocks, in mountainous mixed forests.
