  A new species of the genus Spinoctenus Hazzi, Polotow, Brescovit, González-Obando et Simó, 2018 (Araneae: Ctenidae) from Panama A new species Spinoctenus leleji sp. n . is described from Panama based on a male specimen. This is the first record of the genus Spinoctenus from Panama and the second record of this genus outside South America. The new species is most similar to S. tequendama Hazzi, Polotow, Brecovit, González-Obando et Simó, 2018, but differs by the structure of the male palp and the shape of metatarsus IV. Photographs of the habitus and copulatory organs are provided. The type locality of the new species is mapped. Omelko, Мichail M. 2026. Three new species of the orb-weaving spider genus Alpaida O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1889, the real male of A. guimaraes Levi, 1988 and the male of Aculepeira apa Levi, 1991 (Araneae: Araneidae)

Abstract

Three new species of Alpaida O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1889 are described from the Brazilian Amazon region: Alpaida tukano sp. nov., A. kayapo sp. nov. and A. tupinamba sp. nov. Alpaida murtinho Levi, 1988 is newly synonymized with A. guimaraes Levi, 1988 and the male originally associated with A. guimaraes is redescribed as A. tupinamba sp. nov. The true male of A. guimaraes is redescribed, and the male of Aculepeira apa Levi, 1991 is described for the first time.
