  Two New Species of the Genus Brignoliolus Ovtchinnikov, 1999 (Araneae, Agelenidae) from Türkiye Abstract Two new species in the funnel web-weaving spider genus Brignoliolus Ovtchinnikov, 1999 are described from South Anatolia: Brignoliolus zorkunensis sp. n. (♂♀) and B. gurgum sp. n. (♂♀). These new species were found from black pine forest and mixed red pine-oak forest in the south and southeastern regions of Anatolia. Their taxonomic relationships are briefly discussed and a map to species of Brignoliolus from Türkiye is provided. First description of the male of Troglocoelotes doul Lin & Li, 2024 (Araneae, Agelenidae, Coelotinae)

Abstract

Background

Troglocoelotes Zhao & Li, 2019 is currently known from Guangxi and Guizhou, China and comprises 12 species. Of these, only four are known from both sexes, whereas the remaining eight are known only from females. Troglocoelotes doul Lin & Li, 2024 was originally described from a female specimen collected in Guangxi and its male has remained unknown.

New information

Based on specimens collected from the type locality of Troglocoelotes doul Lin & Li, 2024, the male of this species is described for the first time.
