  A new species of Urupelma Kaderka et al. 2023 from Peru (Araneae, Theraphosidae, Theraphosinae), and a new proposal of homologous keels Abstract A new Peruvian tarantula, Urupelma lamarensis sp. nov., from the Ayacucho Department, in south-central Peru, is herein described, diagnosed and illustrated. Homologous keels of male bulbs in Urupelma Kaderka et al. 2023 are revised and newly established, the generic diagnosis is modified, including diagnoses of single species using these characters. The female genitalia of Urupelma pampas Kaderka et al. 2023 is figured for the first time. The variability of female genitalia of U. veronicae Kaderka et al. 2023 is also shown for the first time.  Kaderka, R. (2026). Six new species of the orb-weaver spider genus Araneus Clerck, 1757 (Araneae, Araneidae) and a redescription of A. colubrinus Song & Zhu, 1992 from Fanjingshan National Nature Reserve, Guizhou, China

Abstract

Six new species of the genus Araneus Clerck, 1757 from Fanjingshan National Nature Reserve in Guizhou Province, China are described: Araneus chenjingi sp. nov. (♂♀), and A. yuboi sp. nov. (♂♀) are assigned to the A. diadematus group; A. lihaiboi sp. nov. (♂♀), A. shii sp. nov. (♂♀), A. wanghuai sp. nov. (♂♀), and A. yangchuandongi sp. nov. (♂♀) are assigned to the A. sturmi group. Araneus colubrinus Song & Zhu, 1992 is redescribed. A new synonym of Araneus colubrinus Song & Zhu, 1992 is proposed: Araneus octodentalis Song & Zhu, 1992 syn. nov.
